Service Goals & Design Philosophy

 

With over 35 years of experience providing architectural services on the Island of Hawai’i, licensed architect Terry Cisco AIA is well equipped to work with you to fulfill your goals. In 2015 the design jury for the Honolulu Chapter of the American Institute of Architects acknowledged the expertise of his office by granting the Award of Merit for one of his recent projects. We will continue to provide this level of design on your project.

 

It is our overall architectural goal to maintain a strong feeling of tropical design in our work. With the constraints of the site’s particular weather environments, our designs strive to integrate interior spaces, exterior spaces and the landscape design. Our preference is to provide homes where beauty is derived from an open special character rather than the structure being the center of attention. Choice of materials and detailing for longevity as well as energy efficiency are integrated into our design process.

 

Being available, responding quickly and budgeting realistically are the benchmarks of our service. Added to these services is our ability to listen to your goals, provide possible directions and then assist you in developing solutions. Our design expertise and attention to detail is evident in our projects built since 1980 on the Big Island. With engineering consultants on the island, we are capable of managing total projects efficiently.
